Hi, I’m Nat!
Your food-loving, judgement-free nutrition support bestie.
Nutrition with Nat exists because nutrition shouldn’t feel confusing, shame-filled, or like something you’re constantly failing at.
I’m here to help break down nutrition science in a way that actually makes sense — and support you in building habits that fit your real life, not an unrealistic ideal.
I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming and contradictory nutrition advice can be. One day a food is “good,” the next it’s “bad.” Somewhere along the way, eating stopped being intuitive and started feeling stressful.
Nutrition with Nat was created to be a different kind of space — one rooted in evidence-based nutrition, compassion, and respect for autonomy. My goal isn’t to tell you what to eat or hand you a list of rules. It’s to help you understand why nutrition works the way it does, so you can make informed choices with confidence.
Because you deserve support — not pressure.
My “why”
what working with me actually looks like
My approach to nutrition is realistic, flexible, and grounded in science. That means:
No fear-mongering
No cutting out entire food groups
No moralizing food choices
No “all or nothing” mindset
Instead, I focus on education, consistency, and building habits that feel sustainable. Nutrition should support your health and your life — not control it.
A truly inclusive, affirming space
Nutrition with Nat is a welcoming, judgement-free space for anyone across the gender spectrum. This practice proudly affirms and supports the LGBTQIA+ community and is committed to providing inclusive, respectful nutrition care for all bodies and identities.
You will never be asked to change who you are to receive care here. All identities, lived experiences, and bodies are respected — always.
Health is not a one-size-fits-all, and neither are people.
While my approach is warm and understanding, the work I do is grounded in evidence-based nutrition and ongoing education. I believe in staying curious, continuing to learn, and adapting recommendations to each individual — not forcing people into a box.
During my undergraduate studies, I shifted my focus to Nutrition & Dietetics after realizing how deeply I loved the intersection of food, science, and real-life health. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in 2015 and have spent the years since working across a wide range of food and nutrition environments — from university kitchens to nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities.
While I am not currently a Registered Dietitian, my education and hands-on experience have provided a strong foundation for offering thoughtful, evidence-based nutrition education and support. I’m committed to staying informed, continuing to learn, and showing up with care, integrity, and respect for the people I work with.
On a personal level (I am a human with hobbies after all!), I have been a competitive strength athlete since 2018. I hold professional status as a powerlifter and have competed in strongman. Formerly, I was a competitive bodybuilder, having competed at the National Level and the Arnold Classic. I enjoy spending time with my son, my spouse, and our four dogs. When I’m not cooking, coaching, or in the gym, I enjoy performing as an aerialist, playing Magic the Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons, knitting, and attending live music events.
